Know your body’s pH

Know your body’s pH

You should only buy and use a feminine hygiene wash with the right pH (potential Hydrogen – a measure of a solution’s acidity or alkalinity) for your most intimate area.

Different parts of your body have different pH values.  The skin of your hands, legs, scalp, and face do not have the same pH values, so each requires a specific product to match its own pH.  No modern woman would simply settle for one soap bar to cleanse herself all over.  You use a body wash, a hand wash, a facial wash, a shampoo, and many more.  Sadly most women forget their feminine wash. Some settle for soap instead and some just wash with water.

Your delicate and sensitive vagina needs more pampering and protection than those visible areas of your body. It’s pH is much lower than other parts of your body such as your hands or face.  Your vagina’s pH ranges between 3.8 and 4.2 so as to prevent bad bacteria and infection from entering your most intimate area.

Ordinary alkaline soap may destroy the natural acidic protective layer of your vagina, that’s why you need a feminine wash that’s right for your vagina’s pH.  You should never compromise on feminine hygiene.
